Tractors and sports cars stole the limelight, as Year 11 students from Tadcaster Grammar School arrived for their Prom.
Out went stretch limousines and double decker buses, as students favoured open top sports cars to arrive in style. Tractors were also a popular mode of transport this year, with three arriving on site and one student even driving himself. However, a Campervan did attract a large cheer from the gathering crowds of proud parents and relatives.
Rose gold and black was the theme this year, with co-ordinating balloons, flower arrangements and the Class of 2017 cake which was beautifully made and decorated by Happy Tiers Yorkshire.
Students dressed to impress and the camaraderie was evident as they gathered for a group photograph on the lawn and then danced the night away to a disco in the grand marquee attached to Toulston Lodge Hall.
